Job summary

Oakridge School in High Wycombe is seeking a passionate SENDCo to lead and champion SEND provision across the school, ensuring every child receives high-quality education and support.

The role is permanent and part-time (4 or 5 days per week), with flexibility around days and hours. Start as soon as possible, or from April 2027 if needed, and we will support you to gain the National SENCO Award.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates passion for improving life chances of SEND children.
• Holds or is prepared to undertake the National SENCO Award with support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SEND provision across the school to ensure high-quality education and well-being.
• Collaborate with staff, parents and external professionals to support learners.
• Play a key role in the Wider Leadership Team to shape school direction.
• Coordinate with Inclusion Team including Assistant Head for Inclusion, Pastoral Lead, Family & Welfare Officer and Attendance Officer.
