Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant or Early Years Practitioner to join a specialist SEN school in the UK. The part-time role (Monday, Wednesday & Friday) supports pupils aged 4 to 19 with Severe Learning Difficulties, PMLD and complex needs.

You will deliver sensory-rich activities, work closely with teachers, therapists and families, and provide personal care and assist with specialist equipment. Full training provided; safeguarding and DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in early years, nursery, or similar childcare settings.
• Creative, playful approach to learning and interaction.
• Patient, adaptable and confident working with pupils with additional needs.
• Passionate about inclusive education and making a real difference.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people across a range of ages and developmental stages.
• Create engaging, sensory-rich learning experiences tailored to individual needs.
