Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant or Early Years Practitioner for a specialist SEN school in Yeovil.

The role is part-time (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) supporting pupils aged 4 to 19 with SLD, PMLD and complex needs, providing engaging, sensory-rich learning experiences and personal care where needed. You will work closely with teachers, therapists and families, benefiting from ongoing specialist training and joining a supportive team committed to inclusive

We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our specialist SEN school, working part-time (Monday, Wednesday & Friday) with pupils aged 4 to 19 who have Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Complex Needs.

About the Role:

• Support children and young people across a range of ages and developmental stages
• Create engaging, sensory-rich learning experiences tailored to individual needs
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families
• Provide personal care and assist with specialist equipment (full training provided if required)
