The Chelmsford Learning Partnership is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join Barnes Farm Primary School for 16.25 hours per week. The role supports pupils with additional needs and requires commitment to high achievement.

You will work within a supportive team, manage behaviour, assist with medical and intimate care needs, and use ICT effectively. Training and flexible working arrangements may be discussed at hire.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting children in a school setting.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Able to support medical needs and intimate care.
• Knowledge of strategies to engage pupils with significant needs.
• Patience, calmness and flexibility at all times.
• Commitment to high achievement from pupils and self.
• Excellent organisation and inter-personal skills.
• Good knowledge of ICT and use of basic IT.
• Willing to undertake training and support individual needs.
