Job summary

Greenway Junior School is seeking a caring SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team for 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This fixed-term position runs until 31 August 2027 and offers a rewarding opportunity to support children with special educational needs in a welcoming school.

You'll work directly with pupils, delivering targeted interventions, adapting activities and helping them develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at minimum
• Ability to support learning activities and engage learners
• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
• Excellent communication and confidentiality
• Patient, flexible and committed to helping children

Responsibilities

• Support children with SEN to access learning and achieve goals
• Deliver targeted interventions and adapt activities to individual needs
