Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Healthcare on a part-time basis contracted to 15 hours per week, with weekend shifts.

You will prepare and serve delicious meals, oversee menu changes, and identify opportunities to improve our food services while upholding food hygiene standards and delivering excellent customer service. Join one of the UK’s largest food service companies.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Food hygiene certificate.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Experience in a similar Chef role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Oversee and implement menu changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve food services.
• Listen to customer feedback and improve services.
• Assist with creation of new menus and concepts.
• Represent Healthcare and maintain a positive brand image.
• Monitor inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Oversee kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
