Job summary

Darwen Aldridge Enterprise Studio is seeking a Science Technician to support the science department in a secondary school setting. You will prepare equipment, chemicals and materials for practical lessons, maintain labs and resources, and support teachers and students during experiments.

You will ensure health and safety regulations are followed and assist with ordering and managing laboratory supplies, contributing to a safe, engaging learning environment for students.

Qualifications

• Keen interest in science and laboratory work.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Previous laboratory or school experience is desirable but not essential.
