Job summary

Dorset Council UK in Weymouth is seeking a permanent, caring driver to support school transport to an Adult day centre. The role involves morning and afternoon shifts, about 5 hours daily, five days a week, with travel by 17-seater minibuses or smaller.

You will need a D1/D1-101/D license, be physically fit to assist passengers, and ideally have experience with children. This is a part-time post with staff benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• D1/D1-101/D or D category driving license is required.
• Experience with children is advantageous.
• Physically fit to assist passengers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Transport from home to centre and return for Weymouth Adult day centre.
• Drive a 17 seater minibus or smaller and ensure passenger safety.
• Support passengers as needed during journeys.
