Job summary

Livingstone Primary School seeks a diligent Site Manager to join our busy team. The role is 30 hours per week with a permanent contract, based at Livingstone Primary School. You will supervise cleaning, security, minor repairs, and liaise with external contractors, while maintaining health and safety checks and record keeping.

A proactive, reliable team player is preferred; DBS checks will apply. You may balance health and safety checks with daily cleaning, record keeping, and maintenance, and

Qualifications

• Be highly motivated.
• Have good communication skills.
• Be capable of working to schedules and on own initiative.
• Balance regular health and safety checks with daily cleaning, record keeping and maintenance.
• Have basic DIY skills and a practical aptitude for general building and grounds maintenance.
• Awareness of health and safety matters and willingness to undergo training.
• Enjoy working in a school environment.
• Clean to a high standard.
• Able to liaise with contractors and manage external maintenance contractors.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and security including opening and locking up of the school.
• Minor repairs and maintenance as required.
• Lifting and carrying tasks as needed.
• Managing the cleaner and liaising with external contractors such as window and carpet cleaners and gardener.
• Conducting regular health and safety checks per the schedule including fire alarm checks and legionella checks.
