Job summary

Hazelwick School in Crawley seeks a dedicated Science Technician to support teachers in delivering the science curriculum and to contribute to students’ learning and progress. The role is 22 hours per week, term time only, with a salary of £14,036 per annum (inclusive of Crawley Market Supplement).

Previous laboratory experience is advantageous, and IT literacy with excellent literacy and numeracy skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in a laboratory environment would be advantageous.
• A willingness to learn and work as part of a team is essential.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Help teachers to deliver the science curriculum and contribute to students’ learning and progress.
• Support and training will be provided as necessary.
• Cover Tuesday afternoons from 1pm to 3pm when required.
