Newcastle City Council, City Operations, Transport and Neighbourhoods, is advertising for a School Meals Catering Assistant at Great Park Academy, Primrose Lane, NE13 9FR. The role is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 10:00am to 2:00pm, term time only.

You will work as part of the School Meals team, washing equipment, cleaning the kitchen, assisting with food prep and serving meals to pupils. This site-specific role requires reliability, a positive attitude and ability to lift and move

Qualifikationen

• Duties include washing catering equipment and general cleaning of the kitchen.
• Assisting the chef with food preparation and maintaining hygiene standards.
• Serving meals to children and describing the meals available.
