Job summary

Chartwells Independent is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor for part-time operations at our education catering sites. You will oversee kitchens and service counters, ensuring exceptional food and customer service, and support the delivery of world-class experiences.

The role requires at least two years of catering experience, leadership skills, and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate. You'll work closely with your line manager to monitor KPIs, train teams, and uphold health and safety

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of catering experience.
• Holds a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to high standards and manage service counters.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to maintain service quality.
• Monitor KPIs and targets with your line manager.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and uphold the Chartwells brand.
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Train and support teams, leading from the front.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards.
