Job summary

West Somerset College, part of Bridgwater & Taunton College Trust, is hiring a cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment at Minehead. The role is 15 hours per week during term-time, with 44 weeks per year, and a salary of £9,988.37 per annum (BTCT Point 3).

The successful candidate will join a supportive team, contribute to high hygiene standards, and support students and staff across the college site.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish floors, furniture, and fixtures
• Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish safely
• Carry out deep cleans during holiday periods
• Maintain cleaning equipment and storage areas
• Follow Health & Safety and safeguarding procedures
• Work as part of a supportive and professional team
