Job summary

Court Fields School in Wellington, Somerset is seeking a part-time School Cleaner to join the site team and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors.

The role is 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday during term time plus inset days and 5 weeks holiday, with an hourly rate of £12.85 (NJC Pt 3) and a 12.85/hour pay award pending. Training is provided and a strong team ethos is valued.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Full training will be provided.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets and communal areas.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and dusting.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
