Job summary

Education Authority in Belfast seeks a part-time School Cleaner for St Bride's Primary School. Working hours are 3:00pm–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, 10 hours per week. You will join a team under the Cleaning Supervisor to maintain hygiene and safety across classrooms, corridors and facilities.

Responsibilities include floor cleaning, carpet care, toilet areas, and dusting. Training is provided, and compliance with health and safety regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate ability to work to deadlines and follow instructions.
• Show understanding of health and safety and COSHH requirements.
• Communicate effectively in English and follow school procedures.
• Be able to work as part of a cleaning team in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and machine-clean floors and surfaces.
• Clean toilets, showers and fixtures to standard.
• Dust walls, ledges and surfaces up to 3.35m and dispose of waste.
• Follow safeguarding and health & safety policies in all tasks.
