Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a reliable School Caretaker for a secondary school in Staunton on Arrow. The role is part-time with immediate start, joining a friendly, community-focused site team to keep the premises safe, clean and well maintained.

You will work with the site team and senior leadership to ensure smooth daily operations, supporting students and staff in a positive school environment.

Qualifications

• Previous caretaker or site assistant experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance and health & safety.
• Practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Right to work in the UK and Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure, and well-presented school site.
• Carry out basic maintenance tasks and housekeeping.
• Support the site team and senior leaders to run daily operations smoothly.
