Job summary

Ryman is seeking a Sales Assistant in Woking to support store management, drive turnover, and deliver excellent customer service. The role focuses on upselling, stock control, and maintaining high visual standards while championing the Ryman brand.

Responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador for Ryman and the Theo Paphitis Retail Group and share knowledge with customers.
• Handle customer complaints professionally, including returns, to ensure retention.
• Aim to exceed KPIs and store objectives set by management.
• Engage with customers to identify needs and upsell using product knowledge and promotions.
• Carry out stock replenishment and maintain accuracy of stock systems.
• Promote high visual merchandising standards and keep store tidy throughout shifts.
• Acquire product knowledge and continue self-development.
• Recognise opportunities to increase sales value by suggesting additional items.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies.
