Job summary

Ryman in Dartford is seeking a part-time Sales Assistant working 6 hours per week to join our dynamic team. You will support the store management, drive turnover through excellent customer service and product knowledge, and act as a brand ambassador for Ryman.

You will handle customer queries, process returns, replenish stock, and help maintain visual merchandising, while striving to meet KPIs and promote promotions.

Responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador for Ryman and Theo Paphitis Retail Group by learning the business and sharing knowledge with customers
• Handle customer complaints and difficulties, including returns, to ensure customer retention
• Aim to exceed KPIs and objectives set by Store Management Team and the business
• Engage with customers, identify needs and upsell through product knowledge and promotions
• Carry out stock replenishment and maintain accuracy of stock systems
• Promote high visual merchandising standards and keep store housekeeping high
• Acquire a high level of product knowledge and continuously develop it
• Recognise opportunities to increase sales value with additional items
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies
