Job summary

The Yorkshire Trading Company in Northallerton is recruiting for 3 sales assistants to join our store team. The role is 16 hours over 4 days, including weekends on a rota, with the possibility of early mornings. You will deliver high-class customer service, contribute to sales growth, and uphold store standards.

We offer a 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata, a workplace pension, and a store discount after induction. Training on the EPOS till system is provided, with opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high levels of customer service.
• Ability to identify customer needs and upsell where appropriate.
• Familiarity with retail merchandising and stock management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through sales service.
• Maintain store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain a fully stocked store.
• Ascertain customers' needs and wants and greet them.
• Process sales through Epos till system (Training provided).
• Assist with deliveries and stock information.
