Job summary

Office Angels in Canterbury is recruiting an experienced Compliance & Quality Manager (RP) on a part-time basis (approx. 16 hours/week). You will oversee regulatory compliance, quality assurance, health & safety and supportive HR/facilities administration while reporting to the COO. Start date January 2027, salary £45,000–£50,000 FTE (pro‑rata).

The role offers a flexible pattern, direct access to senior leadership and a chance to shape compliance strategy during a growth phase.

Qualifications

• Experience as Responsible Person or Deputy Responsible Person in a regulated wholesale environment.
• Experience supporting or leading MHRA inspections is essential.
• Strong understanding of GDP requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing an ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Cogent Gold Standard RP training or equivalent.
• Able to work independently in a part-time role.
• Excellent organisation, record-keeping and communication skills.
• ISO Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor qualification would be an advantage.
• IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
• Exposure to HR administration or recruitment support would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Act as the named Responsible Person on wholesale distribution licences and maintain licences.
• Maintain and continuously improve the GDP quality management system.
• Manage SOPs, supplier and customer approvals, temperature monitoring and CAPA processes.
• Lead internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Oversee ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Support transition towards Marketing Authorisation Holder.
• Manage relationships with regulatory and pharmacovigilance partners.
• Deliver compliance and quality training across the business.
• Supervise Deputy Responsible Persons.
