Job summary

Office Angels in Tring is seeking a part-time Regulatory Compliance Officer to join a charitable client. This office-based role offers 25 hours per week with a pro-rata salary of £55,000 (approximately £37,000 actual for 25 hours).

You will develop and maintain risk management and compliance policies, and support governance across the organisation. You will conduct risk assessments, monitor regulatory adherence, provide staff training, and collaborate with departments to promote best practices

Qualifications

• Proven experience in risk management, compliance, or related field, preferably within the charity sector.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and governance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain risk management frameworks and compliance policies.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters.
• Collaborate with departments to promote best practices in risk management and compliance.
• Prepare reports for senior management and the board on compliance status and risk exposure.
