Job summary

Farmfoods Ltd. in Chorley is seeking a Retail Supervisor for a permanent part-time role. You will work a minimum of 24 hours per week, usually across weekends, and support the store manager to run the shop efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.

You will be responsible for cash handling, opening/closing, and helping develop a small team of retail assistants. The position includes 6 weeks holiday and a staff discount program. Training and career progression are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising staff in a retail environment.
• Proven ability to lead a small team and deliver good customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with cash handling and basic store operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide great service.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop your team of retail assistants.
• Take responsibility for control of costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
• Ensure store operates safely and maintains a clean, well organised environment.
