Job summary

Farmfoods are recruiting a Retail Supervisor for our shop in Hulme, Greater Manchester (M15 5AF). The role requires full-time availability across 5 days, including weekends.

You will earn £13.61 per hour and guaranteed a minimum of 39 hours per week, with potential overtime. Qualifications

• You will need a friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• To be a ‘people person’ who builds strong working relationships with colleagues.
• To be trustworthy and reliable as you will be an important part of a small team.
• Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries would help.
• Complete a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland if hired.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the management team and support the manager to run an efficient shop and provide great service.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after and routines are completed.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop your team of retail assistants.
• Take responsibility for operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
