Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Relief Retail Security Officer for Sainsbury's in the Oxford area. This part-time role offers 9 hours with possible overtime and a pay rate of £14.51 per hour. The officer will deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe shopping environment.

Preference is given to candidates with a current SIA licence or certificates; training may be provided. A full 5-year checkable history is required for employment consideration.

Qualifications

• SIA licence or SIA certificates preferred; training may be provided.
• Full 5-year checkable employment/education history is required.
• Experience in retail security is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver industry-leading customer service in-store.
• Deter violence and public order offences.
• Conduct regular store patrols and monitoring.
• Utilise CCTV to reduce crime and stock loss.
• Liaise with store management teams.
• Coordinate with police and partners to enhance safety.
• Wear Body Worn CCTV to support safety initiatives.
