Job summary

Halfords Group PLC in Torquay is recruiting for a part-time team member to support day-to-day store operations. Working 30 hours per week, you’ll guide customers, supervise a small team and help deliver market-leading standards on the shop floor.

You’ll contribute to training and coaching, maintain high service levels, and assist the store management to ensure smooth service delivery. A passion for motoring or cycling, plus a commitment to development, will help you progress within the Halfords

Qualifications

• Experience of supervising or leading a small team.
• Experience of delivering great customer service ideally in a retail sales or a services business environment.
• Experience of delivering on the job training / coaching to others.
• Experience of working to tight deadlines.
• A track record of achieving exceptional results against sales targets.
• Ideally, you will also have some technical knowledge and skills in motoring or cycling, but this is not essential as technical training is provided – a commitment to your own development is essential!
