Cancer Research UK in Barnsley is seeking a part-time Retail Assistant Manager to support the shop manager and lead a small team. You will help with merchandising, store standards, and delivering great customer and donor experiences.

The role is 15 hours per week, with a flexible pattern including weekends. You will be key to achieving fundraising targets and maintaining compliance with shop policies while contributing to CRUK’s mission to beat cancer.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer service in a lively retail setting.
• Ability to work flexibly across a part-time rota.
• Proactive in stock management and shop presentation.

Responsabilités

• Support the shop manager to guide and inspire a diverse team of staff and volunteers.
• Assist with store merchandising, stock management and maintaining shop standards.
• Lead by example to deliver outstanding customer and supporter service.
• Help achieve targets for donated stock, cash, gift aid and stock processing.
• Engage with the local community and Cancer Research UK colleagues.
• Assist in organising fundraising events to meet targets.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, security, HR policies.
