Job summary

Compass Homes is seeking a part-time Residential Support Worker to support children in a safe, caring environment. You will help run activities, monitor health and wellbeing, and safeguard at all times. Flexible shifts will fit around your availability.

No prior childcare experience is required; a Skills to Care induction and a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare are supported to help your development within 12 months. Sleep-ins paid, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 22 years of age or above (Ofsted requirement).
• No prior childcare experience required; full training provided via Skills to Care induction.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate children’s activities and appointments and support their health and wellbeing.
• Provide safeguarding and supervise as needed.
• Support the wider team with domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking and shopping.
• Create timetables, manage paperwork and write reports.
