University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a Dietetic Clinical & Operational Lead - Renal. This part-time, permanent role (28hrs per week) combines senior clinical leadership with operational management for the kidney dietetics team.

You will oversee highly specialised inpatient and outpatient nutrition care for kidney patients, lead audits, guide colleagues, and work with the MDT to optimise nutrition and nutrition support across Coventry and Warwickshire.

Qualifications

• Registered dietitian with post-registration experience in kidney disease care.
• Ability to provide clinical leadership on dietetic management and nutrition support.
• Experience leading clinical audits and research within nutrition services.
• Skilled in working autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proven capability to communicate complex nutrition information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership on dietetic management of kidney patients requiring nutrition support.
• Lead the daily operational management of the kidney dietitians.
• Offer expert guidance to healthcare professionals regarding kidney disease and nutrition support.
• Lead on clinical audit and research within nutrition support.
• Conduct in-depth nutritional assessments and tailor interventions with MDT input.
• Communicate complex nutrition information to patients, staff and carers.
• Discuss nutrition support decisions with patients and families, including ethical considerations.
