Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Dietitian to join the renal dietetic team. The role involves providing specialist dietetic care for renal patients across inpatient wards, haemodialysis, and pre-dialysis outpatient services, primarily based at the Royal London Hospital with satellite unit work.

You will join a nine-dietitian team, contributing to audit, research, and service development, with potential hours expansion and funding considerations in the future.

Qualifications

• Essential post-registration clinical experience in relevant settings.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team and understanding team dynamics.
• Knowledge of renal dietetic clinical speciality.
• Documented commitment to continuing professional development (CPD).
• Understanding of clinical governance and its relevance to everyday practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide a specialist clinical dietetic service at Band 6 level to renal patients across inpatient wards, haemodialysis, and pre-dialysis outpatient settings.
• Cover Royal London Hospital with satellite units as needed and visit designated satellite units.
• Contribute to audit, research, and service development within the renal dietetics team.
