The role emphasises assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care plans, plus leadership duties when required, supporting junior staff and students while maintaining high clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate personalised care programmes for renal patients.
• Lead and mentor junior staff and students when required to promote learning.
• Deliver thorough, patient‑focused handovers to maintain continuity and safety.
• Collaborate with consultants, dietitians, pharmacists and allied health professionals to provide holistic care.
