Job summary

Nuffield Health Reading is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Specialist to deliver rehabilitation programmes via the unique pathway, including remote and in-person sessions. You will run rolling 12-week plans, lead group classes, and support self-directed activity to aid recovery.

The role requires a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification and strong English/numeracy skills, with a focus on monitoring progress and providing wellbeing coaching. 15 hours per week, pro rata salary up to £28,129.71.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification is essential.
• Experience delivering rehabilitation programmes and group/exercise classes.
• Ability to conduct remote and in-person sessions.
• Excellent IT skills and ability to manage participant data.

Responsibilities

• Organise and run a series of rolling 12-week rehabilitation programmes.
• Facilitate and deliver live stream and in-person group exercise classes.
• Promote self-directed activity using on-demand classes and a participant journal.
• Calibrate exercises based on progress and performance.
• Report deterioration and ensure timely data capture for programme tracking.
• Conduct weekly 1-to-1 coaching calls focusing on goals, restrictions and wellbeing.
