Due to continued success and future business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Receptionist to join our East Midlands team based in Nottingham.

Key Duties and Requirements

Joining our team as a part-time receptionist, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  1. Delivering an effective, pleasant, and engaging customer-focused and professional first point of contact for all customers, suppliers, colleagues, and members of the public.
  2. Effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Assisting in the preparation of key status reports.
  4. Supporting the effective administration of the business.
  5. Maintaining business records and filing, archiving, and data retrieval systems in line with departmental and data protection/security requirements.
  6. Contributing to the development and improvement of administrative procedures.
  7. Working as part of the wider administration and support team, helping other administrative staff as required to ensure the delivery of a fully effective administration function.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful as our part-time Receptionist, you will have previous experience working in a similar role.

You will be required to work Monday and Tuesday, 9 am to 5 pm, and Wednesday, 9 am to 1 pm, totaling 18 hours per week.

As this role is a job share on a part-time basis, you will need to cover your colleagues' holidays, which may require full-time holiday cover occasionally.

You must also possess:

  • Excellent knowledge and application of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, as this is a customer-facing role and the first point of contact for visitors.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • A basic understanding of house building is desirable but not essential.
