Job summary

Elysium Healthcare is seeking a Part-time Receptionist for Farmfield Hospital in Charlwood. You will be the first face and voice for staff, visitors and service users, greeting people warmly and supporting the reception team. You’ll manage the office diary, handle calls, emails and post, and help maintain a safe, welcoming reception area.

The rota is 23 hours a week with extra shifts every 6 weeks. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for training and career

First impressions matter. As a Part-time Receptionist you play a pivotal role in setting the tone for every interaction. You are the first face and first conversation visitors to Farmfiled Hospital in Charlwood will experience. Your warm and friendly personality will shine through as you greet and assist staff, visitors and service users.

What you will be doing

In this exciting role at Farmfield , a service for people with Mental Health conditions.E ach day brings different challenges and experiences. Working 23 hoursa week along side the reception team your key responsibilities will be welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner, co-ordinating the office diary for meetings and events and efficiently handling telephone calls, emails and post.

Ensuring the safety and security of service users, staff and visitors is a top priority. You’ll oversee visitor sign ins, conduct security checks and manage the distribution of keys and security badges.

Any 2 days within Monday to sunday there is no set pattern and every 6 weeks you would be required to work 1 additional shift so 3 in one week. The rota is produced 3 months in advance.

As a Receptionist you will be:

• Welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner and ensuring the sign the visitor book.
• Maintaining the upkeep of the reception area & meeting rooms are presentable.
• Managing the office diary for meetings, events, training days and therapy sessions.
• Ensuring confidentially and security to the service.
• Receiving and dealing with telephone calls, emails and post.
• Ensuring all appropriate leaflets and brochures are on display.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be professional, confident and diplomatic
• GCSE English Language Grade C or above
• Be efficient and enthusiastic
• Awareness of understanding confidentiality and security
• Ability work alongside a team and independently
• Must be welcoming and self-motivated
