Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a QTS Primary SEND Teacher to join a specialist SEND primary school in South Rochdale. You will be joining a small class of around 10 pupils aged 5-7, likely KS1, with strong support from teaching assistants and a multidisciplinary team.

This is a part-time, long-term supply role, working Monday to Wednesday, 8.30am-3.30pm, in a school with Good Ofsted and a commitment to inclusion. The post requires QTS or QTLS and a valid right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Qualified Primary Teacher with QTS or QTLS.
• Experience teaching Primary SEND pupils.
• Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons.

Responsibilities

• Teach a small class of approx. 10 pupils aged 5-7.
• Plan, deliver and differentiate lessons to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, parents and the multidisciplinary team.
• Support pupils with complex communication, behavioural and medical needs.
