Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting a QTS Primary SEND Teacher for a specialist SEND primary school in South Rochdale. This part-time, long-term supply role runs Monday to Wednesday, 8.30am-3.30pm, working with a small class of around 10 pupils aged 5-7.

You will deliver differentiated lessons, collaborate with teaching assistants and the wider team, and support pupils with a range of complex needs including communication, behavioural and medical challenges.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS
• Recent Primary SEND teaching experience
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS and professional references required

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual needs
• Teach a small class of approximately 10 pupils aged 5-7
• Work closely with teaching assistants, parents and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Support pupils with complex communication, behavioural and medical needs
