Job summary

Sussex Primary Care Limited in Brighton is seeking a Practice Nurse to join our primary healthcare team. The role offers 15 hours per week on a part-time basis, with a competitive salary and flexible working hours.

You will be part of a supportive, collaborative organisation providing Personal Medical Services to patients of the Practice, with opportunities for professional development and a generous holiday entitlement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in and perform routine tasks related to patient care as indicated by patient need.
• Cytology
• Removal of Sutures/ clips
• Travel Clinic
• Asthma and COPD Management
• Venepuncture
• Hypertension Management / 24 hour ambulatory BP
• Diabetes Management
• Ear syringing
• Routine immunisations/Childhood immunisations
• Chaperoning and assisting patients where appropriate who are being examined by another clinician
• Requesting pathology tests, for example urine culture, swabs
• Following agreed clinical protocols.
