Fenham Hall Medical Group is seeking a Practice Nurse for a 6-month maternity cover. The role involves delivering nursing care, monitoring long-term conditions, preventive care and screening, working with the practice team to meet patient needs, and supporting policy implementation.

The position is part-time (2 days a week, preferably Monday & Tuesday) with flexible hours (8:30am-6pm). Ideal candidates will have RGN experience in primary care and be able to work collaboratively within the MDT.

Qualificações

• RGN with primary care experience.
• Experience managing chronic diseases; childhood immunisations.
• Cytology and women's health experience.
• Travel health experience.
• Sexual health experience.
• Ability to work on own initiative; flexible hours.
• Self-directed practitioner; motivated and team player.
• Basic IT skills.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver core nursing care for patients and manage long-term conditions.
• Carry out wound care, sutures removal, venepuncture and ECGs.
• Administer immunisations, vaccinations and travel health services.
• Support MDT meetings and collaborate with GPs and practice staff.
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with clinical protocols.
• Participate in audits, safeguarding and local health initiatives.
• Order stock and maintain practice nurse rooms and equipment.
