Dewis Centre for Independent Living is seeking a part-time PA to support a young woman in Pontypridd and surrounding areas. The role focuses on helping her engage with the community and build independence with social interactions.

You will drive if required, assist with mobility, personal care, and accompany her to activities. A non-smoking, talkative, empathetic driver is preferred and epilepsy training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must have NI number and DBS check prior to employment.
• Female only due to personal care involved.
• Must hold a valid car driving licence with business class insurance.
• Willing to work with family dogs.
• Willing to complete epilepsy training before starting.
• Able to work part-time and be flexible.

Responsabilités

• Take me out into the community and to activity centres.
• Assist with personal care as required.
• Push my wheelchair or assist with mobility.
• Go shopping and socialise over tea and cake.
• Travel using parents' adapted vehicle or your own.
• Attend epilepsy course before starting.
