Job summary

Tennent's in Glasgow seeks a Payroll Administrator to support UK & Ireland payroll during a major transformation. This part-time role (3 days a week) focuses on modernising in-house payroll, ensuring compliance, and delivering accurate pay across multiple frequencies.

You'll work with HR, Finance and operations, drive process improvements, and handle end-to-end payroll tasks with a proactive, detail‑oriented approach in a complex, fast-changing environment.

Qualifications

• Payroll experience in a multi-site or complex environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK and Irish payroll legislation.
• Payroll qualification (CIPP or IPASS) desirable.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with iTrent and Crown Time & Attendance a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer end-to-end payroll processing for UK and Ireland employees across multiple pay frequencies.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.
• Process statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, SPP in line with current legislation.
• Coordinate year-end activities including P60s, P11Ds, HMRC submissions.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and audit trails.
• Respond to payroll queries professionally and empathetically.
• Support process improvements and system enhancements.
• Assist with reporting and analytics for internal and external stakeholders.
