Job summary

Basildon Employer is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join on a temporary, part-time basis (3 days a week) in Basildon. You will handle end-to-end payroll, across two entities, with both weekly and monthly cycles, and manage starters, leavers, and queries.

The role requires attention to detail, deadlines, and potential experience with Sage or BrightPay. Immediate start available for a flexible, part-time assignment.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll experience required.
• Experience processing weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Sage and/or BrightPay experience advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process two payrolls across two entities.
• Run weekly payroll for ~115 employees.
• Run monthly payroll for ~70 employees.
• Manage starters and leavers and payroll queries.
• Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
• Support payroll system migration from Sage to BrightPay.
