Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited is seeking a focused payroll specialist for a part-time, hands-on role within our finance team. You will manage end-to-end payroll for 100 client payrolls, delivering about 1,500 payslips with accuracy and timeliness.

The role offers a flexible hybrid setup with around 20–30 hours per week and one day in our Liverpool City Centre office, with potential to convert to a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in independent, end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients.
• Proficiency with BrightPay payroll software; Xero Payroll experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
• Part-time availability around 20–30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll for 100 clients (~1,500 payslips) accurately and on time.
• Operate autonomously under Payroll Manager guidance.
• Perform data entry, statutory calculations, and compliance checks.
• Address payroll queries from clients and internal stakeholders.
