Job summary

Portfolio Credit Control is recruiting a part-time Payroll Administrator to join a friendly Northwich-based team. You will process weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payroll for a portfolio of clients, with 15 or 22.5 hours per week on a permanent basis.

The role requires experience in bureau payroll, handling high volumes, RTI submissions, Auto enrolment, year-end procedures and strong Excel skills. You will work collaboratively within the team but also autonomously.

Qualifications

• Bureau payroll experience required.
• Minimum 2 years’ payroll experience.
• Experience with pensions and auto-enrolment.
• NEST experience desirable.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proactive with initiative.
• Team player with ability to work autonomously.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent payroll knowledge and ability to answer queries.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Handle high volumes of clients and payrolls.
• Manage RTI submissions.
• Administer auto enrolment.
• Year end procedures.
• Respond to client payroll queries and liaise with clients.
• Support payroll bureau operations.
