Job summary

Worcestershire County Council is seeking friendly ChS Passenger Assistants to transport children and adults to schools and day centres from Warndon Depot, Worcester.

You will work as part of the TSU Operations team on a 25-hour week, with DBS clearance required and a permanent contract. You will assist passengers on and off vehicles, including those with enhanced care needs, ensuring safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable; calm under pressure.
• Good communication and people skills with passengers.
• Team player with Driver; assist with moving passengers.

Responsibilities

• Physically assist passengers to and from the vehicle.
• Help passengers on/off vehicle using step or lift according to need.
• Travel on a vehicle on a split shift to transport to destinations (morning and afternoon).
