Worcestershire County Council is seeking friendly ChS Passenger Assistants to transport children and adults to schools and day centres from Warndon Depot, Worcester.
You will work as part of the TSU Operations team on a 25-hour week, with DBS clearance required and a permanent contract. You will assist passengers on and off vehicles, including those with enhanced care needs, ensuring safety and comfort.

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and flexible individuals who are calm under pressure with good communication and people skills concerning our passengers.
You will work as part of a team with the Driver and assist with moving passengers.
You will need to be a team player working closely with our passengers, some of whom have an enhanced care requirement, ensuring their comfort and safety.
A key task in these roles is to physically assist passengers as necessary to and from the vehicle and help them on and off the vehicle by means of step or the vehicle lift according to their level of need.
Candidates require the ability to undertake moderate physical activity, sometimes in a confined space.
The role involves traveling on a vehicle on a split shift to safely transport passengers to their destination which may include in the morning and the afternoon.
Due to the nature of the work a criminal record check via the DBS disclosure service will also be required.
