Job description

Part Time Office Coordinator

We’re looking for an energetic, organised and people-focused Part-Time Office & Culture Coordinator to join our team!

This is a hands-on, fully office-based role for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in keeping things organised and wants to play an active part in creating a positive and engaging workplace.

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the office, while also helping us strengthen our company culture and create a welcoming, fun and engaging environment where employees feel connected and involved.

The role is part-time, requiring 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with attendance at the office. Working hours may vary depending on business needs, particularly when organising events or supporting office activities, so we’re looking for someone who can offer flexibility with their schedule. Any changes to working hours will always be communicated in advance. No weekend work is required.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing the daily running and organisation of the office.
  • Coordinating cleaners, maintenance, suppliers and general office requirements.
  • Managing groceries, coffee, stationery, water and office supplies.
  • Coordinating access cards, parking and practical arrangements for employees and new starters.
  • Following up on office issues, maintenance and supplier requests.
  • Organising breakfasts, lunches, after-work drinks, celebrations and other office activities.
  • Bringing forward ideas to improve employee engagement and strengthen company culture.
  • Supporting company events and employee initiatives.
  • Welcoming new employees and helping them settle into the office.
  • Providing payroll administration and support to the HR team as needed
  • Being flexible and willing to support additional reasonable tasks when required.
  • Create basic visual content for the company’s LinkedIn account using Canva. Previous Canva experience is a plus, but not essential, as training can be provided.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is naturally friendly, approachable and outgoing, and who genuinely enjoys working with people.

You are:

  • Proactive and comfortable working independently.
  • Organised, reliable and detail-oriented.
  • A genuine people person.
  • Comfortable taking initiative and suggesting new ideas.
  • Hands-on and willing to get involved.
  • Resourceful and solutions-focused.
  • Confident in communicating with employees, management and external suppliers.
  • Comfortable handling basic HR and payroll administration.
  • Interested in workplace culture and employee engagement.
  • Professional and discreet when handling confidential information.
  • Flexible and happy to support the wider team when needed.

This role would suit someone who enjoys being at the heart of the office, building relationships and making sure things are organised and running smoothly.
