The role

You’ll be at the heart of the business, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes while helping the team work efficiently and enjoy a well‑organised, welcoming workplace.

  • Coordinate external IT support and assist with system improvements and operational projects.
  • Build strong supplier relationships, compare costs, negotiate contracts and ensure services meet agreed standards.
  • Help maintain workplace health and safety standards, risk assessments, policies and records.
  • Coordinate relevant training, audits, safety briefings and fire safety/first-aid arrangements.
  • Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Coordinate probation and performance review reminders, compliance requirements and benefits administration.
  • Support recruitment logistics, including interview scheduling and candidate coordination.
  • Organise team socials, celebrations, internal events and employee engagement activities.
  • Coordinate conference attendance, registrations and travel arrangements.
  • Help create a positive, inclusive and enjoyable working environment.
  • Support projects that improve internal processes, systems and overall business efficiency.
  • Proactively identify ways to make the office and wider business run even better.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience managing suppliers, coordinating services and negotiating costs.
  • Confidence with IT systems and basic troubleshooting.
  • HR administration and health and safety experience would be beneficial, but are not essential.

Most importantly, you’ll be proactive, approachable and comfortable working in a small, fast-moving business where no two days are necessarily the same.
