Job summary

South Thames Colleges Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support learners with LD, Autism and sensory processing differences across Kingston College and Carshalton College. This part-time role is 0.6 FTE (21.6 hours/week) and requires HPC registration.

You will conduct holistic assessments, plan evidence-based interventions, support social integration and wellbeing, and maintain clear clinical records. A degree in Occupational Therapy is required with relevant education experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold HPC registration.
• Experience assessing learners with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Sensory processing differences.
• Experience writing reports and support plans/communication guidelines for varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Carry out holistic occupational therapy assessments and person-centred interventions to support learners’ functional skills across the curriculum.
• Support students’ social integration and emotional wellbeing, promoting independence and inclusion.
• Plan and deliver training, keep clear records for clinical and funding purposes.
