Job summary

South Thames Colleges Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support learners in a college setting. The role encompasses holistic assessments, person-centred interventions and promoting independence across the curriculum.

You will work primarily at Kingston College and Carshalton College, supporting sensory, behavioural and motor coordination needs. The post requires HPC registration, experience with Learning Disabilities, Autism and sensory differences, and you will be responsible for

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (HPC registered) is essential.
• Experience assessing learners with Learning Disabilities, Autism and sensory differences.

Responsibilities

• Carry out occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
• Support learners to access functional skills across the curriculum.
• Promote independence, social integration and emotional wellbeing.
• Plan and deliver training or coaching with clear records for funding purposes.
