Job summary

South Thames Colleges Group invites applications for a part-time Occupational Therapist (0.6 FTE, 21.6 hours per week). The role focuses on supporting learners to achieve optimal function across college life, with person-centred assessments and interventions to address sensory, behavioural and motor needs.

You will contribute to social integration and emotional wellbeing, write reports and plans, and manage a caseload while working to deadlines. Kingston and Carshalton campuses host the role.

Qualifications

• HPC registration and experience in assessing learners with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
• Experience devising evidence-based interventions for learners with varied communication profiles.
• Ability to write reports, support plans and communication guidelines for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Carry out holistic occupational therapy assessments and person-centred interventions.
• Support learners to manage sensory, behavioural and motor coordination challenges.
• Promote social integration and emotional wellbeing; maintain clear clinical records.
