Job summary

South Thames Colleges Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support learners across Kingston College and Carshalton College. You will carry out holistic assessments and deliver person-centered interventions to promote independence and inclusion, addressing sensory, motor and behavioural needs.

The role involves training delivery, report writing and collaboration with college staff to support students' functional skills and social integration in a busy college environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) and HCPC registration.
• Experience assessing learners with Learning Disabilities, Autism and sensory processing differences.
• Experience writing reports and support plans for diverse audiences.
• Experience planning and delivering training and keeping clear clinical records.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic occupational therapy assessments and person-centered interventions to support learners to access and develop functional skills.
• Support social integration and emotional well-being of students.
• Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and guidelines for various needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to funding processes.
